Mica & Ivory began with two materials that shouldn't belong together: mica, layered, flaking, catching light like metal; and ivory, smooth, warm, bone-quiet. Every piece here lives in the space where they meet.
Each piece is, on its own, or through its series, a dramatic story told in large-scale, neutral tones, and built by hand in layers of texture and mixed media. Cool and warm. Rough and smooth. Bold in its simplicity, never loud.
