Mica & Ivory began with two materials that shouldn't belong together: mica, layered, flaking, catching light like metal; and ivory, smooth, warm, bone-quiet. Every piece here lives in the space where they meet.
Each work is large-scale, neutral-toned, and built by hand in layers of texture and paint mediums. Cool and warm. Rough and smooth. Bold in its simplicity, never loud.
